ANDROMEDA

http://www.rocketreviews.com/reviews/all/qm_andromeda.shtml
"The
quality of the components is unparalleled. Every component in this kit
is the highest quality available. Even the wooden dowels are poplar.
(That's why they have a green tint to them.) Poplar is a strong,
moisture resistant wood that warps less than others. The tubes are all
the heavy, white, "no-seam" type. The coupler tube is extra long and
very thick.
The design of this kit goes way beyond most kits out there. This kit was
engineered, not just created. The creativity in the design and
construction is tremendous.
The jig is unlike anything I've ever seen. It is made from laser cut
pressed wood. The engineering that went into it made building this
rocket much easier. Without it, the skill level on this kit would be two
steps higher. This is something I guarantee you won't be able to bring
yourself to throw in the trash when you are done with it."

AGM-12 (BULLPUP)

http://www.rocketreviews.com/reviews/all/qm_bullpup.shtml
"This is a 2x
upscale (OK, 1.96 to be exact) of the original 1970s edition of the
Estes Bullpup, with highly engineered features and upgrades. I've been
avoiding a few of the relatively pricey QModeling upscales lately, but
the boat tail on this sucked me in and I found this a real pleasure to
build and fly. " Chan Stevens
HAWKEYE

http://www.rocketreviews.com/reviews/all/qm_hawkeye.shtml
"With our first
F21-4W ignited, Hawkeye rose up into the sky amid a torrent of smoke and
flame. Expecting very low and slow, I was surprised as Hawkeye jumped
off the pad and accelerated into the sky with a loud, straight boost to
perhaps 800 feet. The delay was a tad short with ejection just before
apogee. The chute filled nicely and set the rocket down gently and
undamaged. I like slow descents, and the chute seems to be one of the
very best aspects of this kit.
The second flight on F21-4W was just like the first: a thrilling fiery
shot up to perfect deployment and gentle landing. These flights were the
highlights of a long day of launching...this bird is meant to fly! I'm
going to try to gobble up some more high-thrust mid-power motors and
take Hawkeye out again soon. "

NIKE-X

"There's one very cool innovation about this that I have to point out, as it eliminates one of my pet peeves. Too many of my rockets are either sans hook or have a retaining hook that extends beyond the bottom of the tube, preventing the rocket from standing on its own. QModeling has designed a sliding motor hook into this kit that can be retracted to below the end of the tube for display but pulled back out for flight. Very simple trick, works great, and I'd never seen one anywhere else like this. " Chan Stevens
ROGUE

"A great 2.2x upscale of the 1970's Estes classic that is capable of flying to nearly 1000 feet on 24mm motors." Chan Stevens

"Another "retro" kit re-introduced bigger and better than the original. QModeling has put together a beautiful kit that's fun to build and draws lots of WOWs at the pad." Chan Stevens
STILETTO

"If a rocket can be sexy, this one is it. A long, sleek upscale of the Estes kit, this is a beautiful single stage 24mm rocket that flies as well as it looks. " Chan Stevens

"This kit is a beautiful upscale and upgrade to the Estes classic Starship Vega. Magnificently engineered and loaded with top-quality components and features, this rocket would be a great addition to any BAR's fleet." Chan Stevens

"QModeling of Temecula, CA has put together a great looking upscale remake of the old Estes Vega rocket. The kit has always been one of the more interesting looking "retro" rockets put in to flight and QModeling has done a fine job with this kit." Jeff Drongowski

"This fantastic
upscale of the Estes EAC Viper is the first of Q-Modeling's "QBAR"
projects. Through collaboration with a born again rocketeer (Bob Cox)
and a rigorous beta testing process, they hope to release flawless and
innovative designs. In this case, I believe they have succeeded. " Chan Stevens
WACC

http://www.rocketreviews.com/cgi-bin/rvwbuild/rvwbuild.cgi?qm_wac_corporal.html
"I spent hours on my ASP kit and did a decent but not great job on the bevels. Thanks to the sanding jig on this kit, it only took about 30 minutes to do a great job on all 3 fins" Chan Stevens

"I was pleased with this kit in just about every way. The directions were clear and the laser cut parts made assembly enjoyable. The sanding jig is a great idea, making sanding actually palatable. Due to it's good looks and simple, low power style construction, I would recommend this kit for anyone who would like to try mid power." Fred Talasco

"Overall, this kit was an absolute pleasure to build. The sanding fixture and the jig-saw engine mount really add a unique flavor to the build process and yield outstanding results. " Bob Cox
Customer Comments
"The WAC Corporal kit has been extremely easy to build, but much more than beginner level. The instructions are clear and the parts are perfectly cut and are of great quality. The over-all look of the rocket is excellent and the performance is even better. My first launch on a D12-3 was flawless and perfectly straight with no sign of instability. The second flight, on an E9-4 was also flawless, but I think the estimated altitudes are a little on the low side. Without an altimeter, I estimate the flight was more like 950'-1000'. My next launch will be on an E18-4 with electronic deployment plus altimeter. Thanks again for the great rocket!" – Lee Root (WACC Model Rocket Kit)
With the winter weather fast approaching here in this part of the country, I look forward to spending some down time indoors building the coolest, most technically advanced rocket kits I have ever seen. Keep up the good work! Thanks, Ron” – Ron Avery (VEGA, SNOOPER Model Rocket Kits)
“Whatever you're doing for resin cast parts is top-notch! I've never seen such blemish-free castings, and expected to have to fill a few voids on the tiny pod cones. Keep up the great work, Chan” – Chan Stevens (VEGA, SNOOPER Model Rocket Kits)
“I received the Snooper today in good shape. I am definitely impressed with the jig assembly!! The parachute is awesome, too. It is the best quality lightweight chute that I have seen yet!! I flew my Vega again on Saturday. Once again, I got lots of compliments on it!! I told several people to mention that I recommended your kits if they ordered one. I will be taking lots of pictures of the assembly of my Snooper kit. I will send them to you when I am done. Thanks for 2 great kits. Keep them coming!!, Lamar” - Lamar Martinez (VEGA, SNOOPER Model Rocket Kits)
“Tom, Upgrade kit arrived yesterday the instructions are easy to understand. Great job! I for one am really excited about your new products and up scale kits. These are great for us old guys that enjoy the classics, but have limited flying areas. We can use the larger engines and still recover our rockets with out having a heart attack or needing GPS. I think this kit may will become the "Lexus" of my hobby fleet, oh I do have many, my wife says too many. Thanks again and keep up the good job. Bob” - Robert MacDougall (VEGA, SNOOPER Model Rocket Kits)
"The snooper and the Vega arrived today and I just wanted to thank you for the great service. The kits look terrific - the engineering that has gone into them is evident - and the customer service has been great. I'm looking forward to building them, although this can't happen until after Christmas: my wife feels they'll make great presents for me! John" - John Brohm (VEGA, SNOOPER Model Rocket Kit)
" I just wrestled the kit away from my wife. (It was a birthday present and today's the birthday)... I can't wait to start working on it. I love the building jigs you included. Excellent addition! Evan" - Evan Nau (SNOOPER Model Rocket Kit)
"This was my first 'non Estes' rocket kit and I really enjoyed the superb detail and ultra high quality. Being a small company, I really don't know how you do it! The rocket turned out beautiful and is the pride of my fleet." - Carl Kalkhof (VEGA Model Rocket Kit)
